Timeline (newest first)
- Jun 10, 2025: Council approved a site plan agreement (water main extension) and a water-meter easement. Construction had begun under a foundation permit.
- Dec 18, 2024: Planning Commission approved the Village Cooperative site plan: 64 age-restricted units, three stories over partly underground parking.
- May 14, 2024: Town Council approved it (Ordinance 009-2024) after continuing it in March. Resident concerns included drainage, sewer capacity, groundwater, traffic and building height; the applicant answered in a response memo.
- Feb 7, 2024: Planning Commission unanimously recommended PD Amendment 7, creating Planning Area 7-2A (Lots 5B and 5C, Block 1, Filing 11) for multifamily housing up to 21 homes per acre, 45 feet tall, with 1.5 parking spaces per unit.
