About this project

The streets in Vista Ridge belong to the Town of Erie, which repaves them under its street maintenance program. "Mill and overlay" means grinding off the top layer of asphalt and paving a new one.

Timeline (newest first)

  • Aug 10 – week of Oct 5, 2026: Phase 2 paving in the neighborhood, street by street (see the paving map and the home page banner).
  • May 12, 2026: Phase 2 contract with Western Plains Construction ($3,502,700) for edge mill and overlay of about 185,394 square yards of Vista Ridge streets.
  • Apr 14, 2026: Vista Parkway mill and overlay with Asphalt Specialties ($1,039,632): Mountain View to County Line Road (about 41,000 square yards) and Mountain View to CO 7. Work ran in April–May 2026.
  • Jun 25, 2024: 2024 street maintenance contract with Western Plains Construction ($2,352,600 town-wide), including about 60,000 square yards of Vista Ridge streets such as Forsythia, Lilac Circle, Alpine Drive, Primrose and Crestview.
  • Sep 28, 2021: Links Court drainage and cul-de-sac repair, Civil Specialties, $167,965.80, to fix gutter flat spots that caused ponding and ice.
