Several companies and the Town provide utilities to Vista Ridge homes. Vista Ridge is on the Weld County side of Erie, where the Town lists United Power as the electric provider (Xcel Energy serves mainly the Boulder County side). Natural gas in Vista Ridge comes from Xcel Energy. Drinking water and sewer come from the Town of Erie.

For internet, cable and phone, the Town lists several providers, including Allo, Comcast (Xfinity), Verizon, AT&T, CenturyLink and T-Mobile. Allo is building a fiber-optic network across Erie under a franchise agreement the Town Council approved on March 22, 2022 (the Town receives 5% of Allo's gross revenue as a franchise fee). As of September 2026, Allo's construction map shows most of Vista Ridge either under construction (roughly from Skyline Drive and the golf course south to Ridge View Drive) or planned as a future build (Alpine Drive and the north side), with the west side already live.

Fiber crews work in the utility easement along the edge of lots (roughly 3–4 feet wide) and the right-of-way: main lines are bored 2–4 feet deep, drops to homes 12–18 inches, with pedestals (small boxes) placed in the easement. Colored flags and paint mark existing lines before digging (for example orange for communications, red for electric, yellow for gas, blue for water, purple for irrigation). In May 2025 the HOA's landscaper reported repairs related to the fiber line and said it would bill Allo directly (HOA minutes).
