The Town of Erie has several projects going on in Vista Ridge this fall. Here is what to expect and when.
Street repaving (through the week of October 5)
Phase 2 of the Town's street maintenance program is edge-milling and repaving about 185,000 square yards of Vista Ridge streets, weather permitting, with partial lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. See the home page banner for the remaining streets and the repaving project for the paving map.
Leak detection (September 21 – October 9)
Vista Ridge is first in the Town's 2026–2030 water leak detection cycle. Town crews are checking the water lines in the neighborhood for leaks during this window.
Fiber line on sidewalks and tree lawns (September 23 – November 25)
The Town is installing a fiber line between its water plant and water tank along Vista Ridge sidewalks and tree lawns. You'll see crews working along sidewalks and tree lawns during this window.
Vista Parkway bike-lane barriers (done)
Concrete barriers along the bike lane between CO 7 and Mountain View were installed September 2–30. They are anchored but removable, plows can still clear the travel lanes, and the Town's parks crews will clear the bike lanes. More in Vista Parkway Safety Improvements.
Ponds A19 and A20 (target: October 1)
The rebuild of the two detention ponds near Primrose Lane, Alpine Drive and Hickory Drive was targeted to finish around October 1, after a pause this summer for nesting red-winged blackbirds. See Ponds A19 and A20 Rebuild.
Speed bumps on Alpine Drive and Primrose Lane (October)
